Birdatthewire, a Grade 1 winner trained by Dale Romans, is the 2-1 morning line favorite in the field of nine, which will compete in a one-turn mile configuration on the main track.
The Green Sheet had a solid day on the Friday card at Churchill Downs, giving out three winners — Recount ($6) in the first, Sugar Cube ($3.60) in the third and Nobadeer ($7.80) in the sixth. The Sheet also had a $46.90 superfecta in the first race and a healthy $275.80 super in the fifth.
For the meet to date, The Green Sheet is nine for 40 with top selections, a winning percentage of 23 percent.
