The Sunday card at Churchill Downs features a 10-race program highlighted by the third race, a $100,000 optional claiming/“non-winners-of-two-other-than” allowance heat that drew a field of six three-year old colts that will try six and a half furlongs on the main track.
The 2-1 morning line favorite is Conquest Big E, a gray/roan son of Tapit that is owned by Chicago’s Conquest Stables, LLC, and is trained by Mark Casse.
Additionally, Sunday’s card offers a $15,697 carryover in the Pick Six Jackpot, which will be run as races five through 10 on the program.
The Green Sheet gave out a pair of winners on the Saturday card at Churchill—Torrent ($3.20) in the sixth race and Dame Wicked ($6) in the nightcap. We also had a solid $274.60 superfecta in the third race on Saturday’s card.
As we head into the final day of the live racing week in Louisville, The Sheet is 11-for-50 with winning selections on top, hitting at a 22 percent strike rate.
