Churchill Downs: November 10, 2016

The Green Sheet had a productive day on Wednesday’s program at Churchill Downs, giving out three winners—Cap Trick ($6.80) in the first, Union Bowman ($7.60) in the third and Green Gold ($5.20) in the day’s finale—in addition to a juicy $161.80 trifecta in the tenth race on the card. For the meet, the Sheet is 14 for 70 with winning selections, hitting at a 20 percent strike rate.

Thursday’s 10-race card at Churchill is highlighted by the seventh race on the program, a $62,500 optional claiming/“two-other-than” allowance event going a mile and a sixteenth on the Matt Winn turf course. Hip Hop N Jazz, a lightly-raced daughter of Speightstown, is the 3-1 morning line favorite in the field of 12 fillies and mares.

Additionally, there is a $29,240 Pick Six Jackpot carryover on the Thursday program. The Pick Six Jackpot encompasses races five through 10 on the card.
