Live racing resumes at Keeneland Race Course on Wednesday, April 19 with an eight-race program highlighted by a deep “three other than” allowance affair going a mile and a sixteenth on the turf. The race attracted a field of 12 in the body, has a lone-also eligible and a main track only entrant.
A pair of tepid 5-1 morning line favorites–Paul Pompa, Jr.’s Turbo Street (AUS), a four-time winner in his native Australia, and the Phipps Stable’s Security Risk, a strong second in a competitive classified allowance race at Gulfstream Park in his last start, lend to the credulity of the depth of the field. It promises to be a great wagering opportunity.
The Green Sheet gave out a $12 winner on the Saturday, April 15, program, as Society Beau won the fifth race on the card by open lengths. Additionally, The Sheet doped out a $77 trifecta in the Stonestreet Lexington Stakes (G3). For the meet to date, The Sheet is giving out FREE winners at a 25 percent clip; its top selections are finishing in the money 55 percent of the time.
Post time for the first of eight races at Keeneland on Wednesday, April 19, is 1:05 P.M. Eastern.
