Older fillies and mares will be in the spotlight on Keeneland’s 10-race program on Friday, April 21, as a compact field of five distaffers will go postward in the 23rd running of the $100,000 Hilliard Lyons Doubledogdare Stakes (G3), to be contested at a mile and a sixteenth on the main track.

On paper, this year’s renewal of the Doubledogdare (G3) is a two-horse race between 4-5 morning line favorite Unbridled Mo, a winner of five-of-seven lifetime starts including three stakes for trainer Todd Pletcher, and Lady Fog Horn, a hard-knocking winner of 13-of-23 career outings including last year’s Falls City Handicap (G2) at Churchill Downs for trainer Anthony Granitz.

The Green Sheet had three winners on Thursday’s nine-race program in addition to a $53 trifecta in the eighth race on the card and a whopping $636.40 superfecta in the day’s nightcap.  The Sheet is giving out FREE winners at a 26 percent clip for the meet; its’ top selections have finished in the money 55 percent of the time to date.

Be sure to check the site often for updates, as I will be giving away FREE selections and analysis for every race of the 2017 Keeneland Spring Meeting.

Post time for the first of 10 races at Keeneland on Friday, a program which features a $8,825 Pick 6 carryover, is 1:05 P.M. Eastern.
