Keeneland Full-Card Analysis: April 26th

A split division of an entry-level allowance race for three-year-olds going a mile and an eighth on the turf will serve as co-features on Keeneland’s eight-race program on Wednesday, April 26, which is also highlighted by a Pick 6 carryover of $13,950.

In the fifth race on the card, Makarios, who was a close third in the Transylvania Stakes (G3T) on the opening day of the meet, is the 8-5 morning line favorite in the field of eight. In the day’s seventh, Flaxman Holdings Ltd.’s Soglio, a stakes-placed Scat Daddy colt for trainer Graham Motion, is the one to fear.

The Green Sheet touted three winners from a nine-race program on Sunday at Keeneland and gave out a $100.80 trifecta in the fourth race on the card. For the meet to date, The Sheet is giving away winners at a 27 percent clip; its’ top selections are finishing in the money 59 percent of the time.
