Keeneland concludes its’ 15-day Spring Meet on Friday, April 28th with a 10-race program highlighted by the 56th running of the Bewitch (G3T), a mile and a half turf marathon for fillies and mares four-years-old and upward.
With the late scratch of 4-5 morning line favorite Arles (Fr), Heider Family Stables and Glen Hill Farm’s Earring, who is grade three stakes-placed going a mile and half on the grass, is strictly the one to beat in this year’s renewal of the Bewitch (G3T), a race that will have only five starters go postward.
The Green Sheet had a big day yesterday at Keeneland, giving out three winners, three trifectas and three superfectas on the nine-race card. For the meet to date, The Sheet is giving away winners at a 28 percent clip; its top selections are finishing in the money 60 percent of the time.
