A nine-race program is in the offing at Churchill Downs on Friday, May 12th, a card that features a high-end optional claiming/classified allowance sprint race going three-quarters of a mile on the main track in the day’s fourth, in addition to a couple of interesting entry-level allowance heats on the turf and dirt in races eight and nine, respectively.
