
Churchill Downs Full-Card Analysis: Sunday, May 28, 2017
Memorial Day weekend forges ahead at Churchill Downs on Sunday, May 28th with a 10-race program on tap highlighted by the featured ninth on the card, an entry-level allowance affair to be contested at a mile and three-eighths trip on the Matt Winn Turf Course.
Co-favored at 5-1 on the morning line in this wide-open affair are War Daddy, a War Front ridgling who returns to the grass off a trio of main track efforts, and Cite, a homebred son of Blame who was a solid second at a nine-furlong trip on the turf facing similar company 32 days ago at Keeneland.
The Green Sheet touted five winners on Saturday’s 11-race program in Louisville in addition to having a $473 superfecta in the eighth race on the card. 17 days into the meet, The Sheet is giving out FREE winners at a 27 percent clip with its’ top selection in each race finishing in the money 60 percent of time.
