A pair of black type events–the $65,000 Mighty Beau Stakes to be run at a five-panel trip on the Matt Winn Turf Course, and the $100,000 Aristides Stakes (G3), a six-furlong sprint on the dirt–highlight the beefy 11-race program at Churchill Downs on Saturday, June 3.

Katherine G. Ball’s Limousine Liberal will attempt to record back-to-back graded stakes wins in Louisville when the son of Successful Appeal goes postward as the favorite in the 29th running of the Aristides Stakes (G3) for trainer Ben Colebrook. The homebred is coming off a game head win at 13-1 in the Churchill Downs Stakes (G2) on the Derby Day undercard.

The fleet-of-foot Latent Revenge is the 3-1 morning line choice in the Mighty Beau Stakes for trainer Greg Foley. The five-year-old dark bay was a game second behind Green Mask in the Twin Spires Turf Sprint (G3) at 23-1 on Oaks Day after setting a quick early pace, and he won last year’s renewal of the Mighty Beau in gate-to-wire fashion.

The Green Sheet smoked out six winners, two seconds and a third on Friday’s nine-race program in Louisville and gave out a $134 trifecta in the seventh on the card. 21 days into the meet, The Sheet is giving out FREE winners at a 29 percent clip with its’ top selection in each race finishing in the money 62 percent of time.

Post time for the first of 11 races on the Saturday, June 3 program at Churchill Downs is 12:45 P.M. Eastern. The card has a carryover of $11,418 in the 20-cent Pick 6 Jackpot and a $10,905 carryover in the Super Hi-5.
