
Churchill Downs Full-Card Analysis: Thursday, June 15, 2017
Thursday’s “Twilight Thursday” program at Churchill Downs has the traditional eight-race card on tap with a later than usual 5:00 P.M. Eastern post time highlighted by a whopping $96,299 carryover in the 20-cent Pick 6 Jackpot.
The Pick 6 encompasses races three through eight with a competitive high-end optional claiming /third-tier allowance race in the opening leg, and a tricky maiden allowance field of seven two-year-old first-time starters in the second leg of the sequence.
The Green Sheet gave out four superfectas, including a $1,091 score in the eighth race on Sunday’s program in Louisville in addition to a $289 trifecta and a $167 exacta in the fourth on the card. 27 days into the meet, The Sheet is giving out FREE winners at a 27 percent clip with its’ top selection in each race finishing in the money 62 percent of time.
