
Churchill Downs Full-Card Analysis: Wednesday, June 28, 2017
The final week of Churchill Downs’s 2017 Spring Meet commences with a special Wednesday evening program to kick off the “Sunset Stretch” Closing Weekend in Louisville.
The card features an eight-race program with a twilight first post time of 5:00 P.M. Eastern and offers a 20-day $131,373 carryover in the 20-cent Single 6 Jackpot in addition to a $2,611 carryover in the $1 Super Hi-5.
The Green Sheet gave out four winners on Sunday’s 10-race card in Louisville, highlighted by Zipp On By’s ($22) half-length score in the nightcap at 10-1. On the day, The Sheet had a positive 65 percent return on investment (ROI)* or a flat-bet profit of $1.30 for each two dollars wagered on its top selections on the program.
35 days into the meet, The Sheet is hitting at a win clip of 27 percent; its top selection in each race has finished in the money 62 percent of time.
