Ellis Park Full-Card Analysis: Monday, July 3, 2017
A special Monday, Fourth of July weekend program at Ellis Park has an eight-race program in the offing highlighted by the featured sixth race on the card, a $41,000 entry-level allowance contest for fillies and mares three-years-old and upward going five and a half-panels on the grass.
The race attracted a full field of 11 fillies led by the 3-1 morning line favorite Prudence, a four-year-old dark bay or brown daughter of Pleasantly Perfect owned by Calumet Farm and trained by Rusty Arnold.
The Green Sheet gave out two winners on Sunday’s nine-race program in Henderson but had a negative 41 percent return on investment (ROI)*, or a flat-bet loss of 82 cents for each two dollars wagered on its top selections.
Two days into the meet, The Sheet is winning at a 22 percent clip–its top selection in each race has finished in the money 50 percent of time.
