
Ellis Park Full-Card Analysis & Selections: Saturday, July 15, 2017
Ellis Park has a nine-race program on the docket for Saturday, July 15 highlighted by the featured eighth, a $41,000 allowance affair for fillies and mares three-years-old and up going a mile and a sixteenth on the turf. Additionally, a compact, albeit competitive, field six turf sprinters will square off in the fourth race on the card–a $43,000 five and a half-furlong dash that attracted the stakes winners Marquee Miss, Simple Surprise, Covey Trace, and Melaleuca.
The Green Sheet had a pair of winners on Friday’s eight-race program in Henderson in addition to giving out a $165 trifecta in the first race on the card and a $109 trifecta in the second. On the day, The Sheet had a positive 13 percent return on investment (ROI)*, or a flat-bet profit of 25 cents for each two dollars wagered on its top selections.
Eight days into the meet, The Sheet is winning at a 30 percent clip–its top selection in each race has finished in the money 62 percent of time.
