Chris Wilkins’s Wilbo has been installed as the 2-1 favorite in a well-matched field of nine, but the chestnut son of Candy Ride (Arg), who is coming off a second-pace finish behind Limousine Liberal in the Aristides Stakes (G3) at Churchill Downs, figures to get a stiff challenge from Harold Lerner LLC’s The Truth Or Else, who has a stakes win already to his credit in 2017.
The Green Sheet will try recover from a bout of seconditits this afternoon, and 11 days into the summer stand at Ellis Park, The Sheet is winning at a 27 percent clip–its top selection in each race has finished in the money 58 percent of time.
