Saratoga Selections By Frank Lyons: Monday, July 31, 2017

The Green Sheet has expanded its handicapping coverage this summer, as Frank Lyons–Breeder’s Cup winning trainer and former on-air personality with Television Games Network (TVG)–has signed on to give his selections for the 2017 meet at Saratoga Race Course in Saratoga Springs, New York.

In addition to a multi-year stint as a host and racing analyst on TVG, Lyons saddled 1995 Breeder’s Cup Sprint (G1) winner Desert Stormer. He also bought and campaigned Santa Anita Derby (G1) winner Castledale. He’s currently a bloodstock agent and the host of a weekly radio show in Lexington, Kentucky.

The Monday, July 31 program at Saratoga has nine races on tap including the $100,000 Coronation Cup Stakes for three-year-old fillies going five and a half-furlongs on the Mellon Turf Course.

Frankie had a good day on Sunday, July 30 at The Spa, giving out three winners on the 10-race program–including Rectify ($14.20) in the eighth–and finishing the day with a positive return on investment (ROI*). He will be giving out his picks FREE of charge for the duration of Saratoga’s 2017 summer stand. Click HERE to see who he likes on Monday!

*Return on investment is calculated by placing a hypothetical $2 win wager on all top selections and dividing the net profit by the total amount wagered.
