Ellis Park Full-Card Analysis & Selections: Friday, August 4, 2017

Live Thoroughbred racing returns to the Tri-State area on Friday, August 4, with an eight-race program on the docket at Ellis Park in Henderson, Ky.

The card has a pair of allowance races in the offing including the featured seventh–a $42,000 money since allowance/$40,000 optional claiming affair for three-year-olds and upward going eight-furlongs on the main track. The program also has a $2,932 carryover up for grabs in the $1 Super High Five.

The Green Sheet gave out three winners on the Sunday, July 30 program at Ellis Park in addition to a stout $371 trifecta in the seventh race on the program. 16 days into the summer meet at “The Pea Patch”, The Sheet is hitting at a 26 percent win clip–its top selection in each race has finished in the money 70 percent of time.
