Saratoga Selections By Frank Lyons: Friday, August 4, 2017

The Green Sheet has expanded its handicapping coverage this summer, as Frank Lyons–Breeder’s Cup winning trainer and former on-air personality with Television Games Network (TVG)–has signed on to give his selections for the 2017 meet at Saratoga Race Course in Saratoga Springs, New York.

In addition to a multi-year stint as a host and racing analyst on TVG, Lyons saddled 1995 Breeder’s Cup Sprint (G1) winner Desert Stormer. He also bought and campaigned Santa Anita Derby (G1) winner Castledale. He’s currently a bloodstock agent and the host of a weekly radio show in Lexington, Kentucky.

The Friday, August 4 program at Saratoga has 10 races on tap including the $200,000 National Museum of Racing Hall of Fame Stakes (G2T) for three-year-olds going a mile and a sixteenth on the Mellon Turf Course. Additionally, the card offers a healthy $160,107 carryover in the $2 Pick 6.

Frank will be giving out his picks FREE of charge for the duration of Saratoga’s 2017 summer meet. Click HERE to see who he likes on Friday!
