Ellis Park Selections: Saturday, August 5, 2017
Live Thoroughbred racing resumes in the Tri-State area on Saturday, August 5, with a nine-race program on tap at Ellis Park in Henderson, Ky.
The Green Sheet gave out a pair of winners on the Friday, August 4 program at Ellis in addition to a stout $329 superfecta and a $228 trifecta in the second race on the program. 17 days into the summer meet at “The Pea Patch”, The Sheet is hitting at a 26 percent win clip–its top selection in each race has finished in the money 69 percent of time.
Due to time constraints, I will only be providing selections and comments for today’s card at Ellis Park. My full-card analysis will resume with the Sunday, August 6 program.
