Saratoga Selections By Frank Lyons: Thursday, August 10, 2017

The Green Sheet has expanded its handicapping coverage this summer, as Frank Lyons–Breeder’s Cup winning trainer and former on-air personality with Television Games Network (TVG)–has signed on to give his selections for the 2017 meet at Saratoga Race Course in Saratoga Springs, New York.

In addition to a multi-year stint as a host and racing analyst on TVG, Lyons saddled 1995 Breeder’s Cup Sprint (G1) winner Desert Stormer. He also bought and campaigned Santa Anita Derby (G1) winner Castledale. He’s currently a bloodstock agent and the host of a weekly radio show in Lexington, Kentucky.

The Thursday, August 10 program at Saratoga has nine races on tap including the featured eighth–the $100,000 New York Stallion Stakes–Statue of Liberty Division– a restricted affair for three-year-old fillies going eight-furlongs on the grass. The card also offers a $37,728 carryover in the $2 Pick 6.

Frank will be giving out his picks FREE of charge for the duration of Saratoga’s 2017 summer stand. Click HERE to see who he likes on Thursday!
