Churchill Downs kicks off the weekend on Friday, September 22 with a 10-race program highlighted by the featured ninth on the card, a $53,000 entry-level allowance/$75,000 optional claiming affair for two-year-olds going six panels on the main track.
The program also has a $22,000 carryover in the 20-cent Pick Six Jackpot and a $9,929 carryover in the $1 Super High Five.
Churchill will host live Thoroughbred racing over three weekends in September and October through Sunday, October 1 with racing on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Post time is 12:45 P.M. (Eastern) with the exception of a 5:00 P.M. “Twilight Thursday” program on September 29, and a 6:00 P.M. first post on Saturday, September 23.
The Green Sheet had four winners on Thursday’s 8-race program in Louisville and gave out a $233 trifecta in the seventh race on the card. On the day, The Sheet had a 160 percent return on investment (ROI*), or a flat-bet profit of $3.20 for each two dollars wagered on its top selections. Four days into Churchill’s 11-day September Meet, The Sheet is hitting at a 33 percent strike rate; its top selections have finished in the money 56 percent of the time.

For the meet to date, The Sheet has a positive 38 percent ROI or a flat-bet profit of 76 cents for each two dollars wagered on its top selections.
