Keeneland Selections by John M. Gaver III: Wednesday, October 25, 2017
A perfunctory eight-race Wednesday program kicks-off the final live racing week of the 2017 Fall Meeting at Keeneland Race Course in Lexington, Ky. The featured seventh race on the card is a competitive $67,000 entry-level allowance affair for two-year-olds which have never won two races to be contested at a flat mile trip on the Haggin Turf Course.
Wednesday’s program also has a $8,596 carryover in the one dollar Pick 6.
The Green Sheet had a pair of winners on the Sunday, October 22 program at Keeneland including Dustem Carolina, who annexed the fifth on the card and paid $10. 13 days into the 2017 Fall Meet, The Sheet is hitting at a 14 percent win clip; its top selections have finished in the money 52 percent of the time.
