Churchill Downs Selections by John M. Gaver III: Wednesday, November 1, 2017
Breeders’ Cup Classic XXXIV (G1) Graded Line by The Green Sheet
Churchill Downs commences a five-day live racing week on Wednesday, November 1 with a 10-race program highlighted by the featured ninth on the card, a $65,000 high-end optional claiming/second-tier allowance race for fillies and mares three-years-old and upward going a mile and a sixteenth on the main track.

The Green Sheet had four winners on Sunday’s opening day, 10-race program at Churchill and gave out a $226 trifecta in the first race on the card.
On the day, The Sheet had a positive 37 percent return on investment (ROI*), or a flat-bet profit of 75 cents for each two dollars wagered on its top selections.
One day into the nascent 2017 Fall Meet in Louisville, The Sheet is hitting at a 36 percent strike rate; its top selections have finished in the money 91 percent of the time.
