The Del Mar Thoroughbred Club in Del Mar, California will host day two of the 34th Breeders’ Cup World Championships on Saturday, November 4 with nine grade one races in the offing and over $21 million in total purse money up for grabs where the “surf meets the turf”.
Nine races are incorporated into day two of the Breeders’ Cup Word Championships–the $2,000,000 14 Hands Winery Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1), the $1,000,000 Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint (G1T), the $1,000,000 Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Sprint (G1), the $2,000,000 Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Turf (G1), the $1,500,000 TwinSpires Breeders’ Cup Sprint (G1), the $2,000,000 Breeders’ Cup Mile (G1T), the $2,000,000 Sentient Jet Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (G1), the $4,000,000 Longines Breeders’ Cup Turf (G1T), and the the $6,000,000 Breeders’ Cup Classic (G1).
Post time for the the first Breeders’ Cup race–the fourth race on Saturday’s Del Mar program–is 12:00 P.M. (Pacific). There is an early all-Breeders’ Cup Pick 4 with a guaranteed $1 million pool on Races 5-8, an all-Breeders’ Cup Ultra Pick 6 with a guaranteed pool of $2 million on races 7-12, and an all-Breeders’ Cup Late Pick 4 with a guaranteed pool of $3 million on Races 9-12.
