Churchill Downs Selections by John M. Gaver III: Sunday, November 5, 2017

Churchill Downs will wrap up the live racing week in Louisville, Ky. on Sunday, November 5 with a 10-race program on the docket.
The featured ninth race on the card is an entry-level allowance affair for fillies and mares three-years-old and upward to be run on the Matt Winn Turf Course at a mile and a sixteenth trip.
The program also has a competitive non-classified five-furlong turf sprint going as the third race on the day, in addition to a four-day, $12,916 carryover in the $1 Super High Five, and a four-day, $19,426 carryover in the 20-cent Pick 6 Jackpot.
The Green Sheet gave out a $508 superfecta in the fifth race on Saturday’s program at Churchill and four days into the 2017 Fall Meet in Louisville, The Sheet is hitting at a 22 percent strike rate; its top selections have finished in the money 57 percent of the time.
