Churchill Downs Selections by John M. Gaver III: Saturday, November 25, 2017
Juveniles will be in the spotlight for the final time in 2017 at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Ky., as the Saturday, November 25 “Stars of Tomorrow II” program is comprised exclusively of two-year-old races.
The 12-race card is highlighted by a pair of stakes races–the 74th renewal of the $200,000 Golden Rod Stakes (G2), and the 91st edition of the $200,000 Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes (G2).
The program also has a seven-day, $87,305 carryover in the 20-cent Single 6 Jackpot.

The Green Sheet had a pair of winners on Friday’s 12-race program at Churchill and touted a trio of trifectas, including a $287 hit in the fifth race on the day.
19 days into the 2017 November stand in Louisville, The Sheet is hitting at a 23 percent strike rate; its top selections have finished in the money 54 percent of the time.
