Gulfstream Park kicks off the live Thoroughbred racing week in South Florida on Wednesday, February 21 with an 11-race program.
The featured ninth on the card is a $50,000 optional claiming/second-level allowance affair for fillies and mares four-year-olds and upward sprinting five-furlongs on the turf.
Additionally, the program has a gargantuan $1,188,993 carryover in the 20-cent Rainbow 6 Jackpot (races 6-11).
The Green Sheet gave out a pair of winners on Monday’s 12-race President’s Day program at Gulfstream and 60 days into the Championship stand in Hallandale Beach, is winning at a 29 percent clip; its top selections have finished in the money 63 percent of the time.
