Steam’s advance graded line for Saturday’s Coolmore Jenny Wiley Stakes (G1T)
A nine-race program is on the agenda at Keeneland Race Course in Lexington, Ky. on Thursday, April 12.
The featured seventh race on the card is a $78,000 second-level allowance event for four-year-olds and upward going a flat mile trip on the Haggin Turf Course.
The turf test drew a competitive field of 12 including Gary Barber’s Keep Quiet (Fr), the tepid 7-2 morning line choice and winner of the Bourbon Stakes (G3T) on the Keeneland grass in 2016, in addition to graded stakes placed performers Makarios, Snap Decision, Mr Cub, and McCormick.
For the Keeneland Spring Meet to date, Steam is hitting at a 30 percent win clip; its top selections have finished in the money 63 percent of the time.
Keeneland will play host to live Thoroughbred racing Wednesdays through Sundays through April 27. Post time for the first race is 1:05 P.M. (Eastern) daily.
