Overcast, rainy conditions will serve as the backdrop as Keeneland Race Course in Lexington, Ky. closes out yet another week of live Thoroughbred racing in Central Kentucky on Sunday, April 15 with a nine-race program on tap.
The featured eighth race on the card is a $100,000 optional claiming/classified allowance affair for four-year-olds and upward sprinting six-furlongs on the main track.
Steam touted four winners on Saturday’s 11-race program at Keeneland and seven days into the 16-day Spring stand, is hitting at a 26 percent win clip; its top selections have finished in the money 56 percent of the time.
Keeneland plays host to live Thoroughbred racing Wednesdays through Sundays through April 27. Post time for the first race is 1:05 P.M. (Eastern) daily.
