The featured eighth on the card is the $50,000 Ellis Park Turf Stakes for fillies and mares three-years-old and upward going a eight and one half-furlongs on the turf.
Lantern Hill Farm’s Burma Road, a $2,500 supplemental entry and fourth in the Ellis Park Turf Stakes last year, is the 3-1 morning line favorite in the field of eight. Jockey Calvin “Boo Boo” Borel will be astride the five-year-old chestnut daughter of Street Boss for trainer Ian Wilkes.
Additionally, the card has a $1,921 carryover in the $1 Super Hi-5.
