steam_ellis_logoA nine-race program is on tap at Ellis Park on Sunday, July 29, as the Henderson, Ky. oval closes out another weekend of live Thoroughbred racing in the Tri-State Area.

The featured seventh on the card is a $25,000 optional claiming/first-tier allowance heat for fillies and mares three-years-old and upward slated for a flat mile trip on the main track.

Steve Asmussen’s Clever Serve, a consistent four-year-old daughter of To Honor and Serve, is the 3-1 morning line choice in the field of nine. Jockey Corey Lanerie will be in the irons.

Steam touted three winners on Saturday’s nine-race program at Ellis Park and, on the day, had a positive 50 percent return on investment (ROI*), or a flat-bet profit of one dollar for each two dollars wagered on its top selections on the card. For the meet to date, Steam has a positive 2 percent ROI, or a flat-bet profit of 4 cents for each two dollars wagered on its’ top selections at the tilt.

14 days into the 2018 summer stand at the “Pea Patch”, Steam is hitting at a 28 percent strike rate; its top selections have finished in the money 62 percent of the time.
