Lexington, Kentucky updated forecast
Juddmonte Spinster Closes Out FallStars Weekend

The $500,000 Juddmonte Spinter (G1), a nine-furlong test for fillies and mares three-years-old and upward, is the highlight of an excellent 10-race program that includes a pair of supporting stakes at Keeneland Race Course on Sunday, October 7, as the venerable Lexington, Ky. racetrack closes out its FallStars Weekend.
The card also features the $250,000 Dixiana Bourbon Stakes (G3T) for two-year-olds slated for an eight and one half-furlong trip on the Haggin Turf Course, and the $200,000 Indian Summer Stakes for two-year-olds sprinting five and one half-furlongs on the turf.
Gainesway Stable, Harold Lerner, LLC, Andrew Rosen, Nehoc Stables, and Magdalena Racing’s Eskimo Kisses, a three-year-old daughter of To Honor and Serve that will face older rivals for the first time, is the 5-2 morning line favorite for the Juddmonte Spinster (G1) by virtue of her open-length win in the Alabama Stakes (G1) at Saratoga on August 18. Jockey Jose Ortiz, Jr. will be aboard the chestnut filly for trainer Kenny McPeek.
