A competitive, full field of turf sprinters will square off in the $100,000 Buffalo Trace Franklin County Stakes (G3T)–Friday’s featured ninth race at Keeneland Race Course in Lexington, Ky. on October 12.
Gary Barber and Team Valor International’s Southern California invader Belvoir Bay (GB) will try to transfer her affinity for Santa Anita’s downhill turf setup to Keeneland’s more conventional course as the 3-1 morning line choice in the Buffalo Trace Franklin County Stakes (G3T), which is slated for a five and one half-furlong trip on the grass.
