The featured eighth on the card is the $125,000 Rood and Riddle Dowager Stakes (G3T) for fillies and mares three-years-old and upward slated for a twelve-furlong trip on the Haggin Turf Course.
Ken and Sarah Ramsey’s Daring Duchess is the 5-2 favorite in the mile and a half turf test on Keeneland oddsmaker Mike Battaglia’s morning line. The six-year-old daughter of Arch is coming off a sixth-place finish in the Canadian Stakes (G2T) at Woodbine on September 15. Jose Ortiz, Jr. will be in the irons for trainer Mike Maker.
