Penultimate Week Of Meet Concludes Sunday
A customary 10-race program will wrap up the penultimate week of the 2018 Fall Meet at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Ky. on Sunday, November 18.
The featured third race on the card is a $89,500 non-classified allowance test for fillies and mares three-years-old and upward. Originally scheduled to be run on the Matt Winn Turf Course, the race has been taken off the grass and will be contested at a five and one-half-furlong trip over a “fast” main track.
Triton Stable, Brian Chenvert, and Eddie Kenneally’s Girls Know Best, a winner of 10-of-19 lifetime starts, is the 8-5 morning line choice in a field that has been scratched down to five entrants. Veteran reinsman Corey Lanerie has the call on the four-year-old daughter of Caleb’s Posse for trainer Eddie Kenneally.
Steam Has Three Wins On Saturday’s Program
