On its penultimate live racing day of 2018 on November 24, juveniles will be in the limelight at Churchill Downs, as the Louisville, Ky. racetrack conducts its “Stars of Tomorrow II” program–a card made up exclusively of two-year-old races.

Saturday’s 12-race program for the juveniles features a pair of stakes races–the $200,000 Golden Rod Stakes (G2) for two-year-old fillies, and the $200,000 Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes for two-year-olds. Both races will be contested on the main track going eight and one half-furlongs.

Three Chimneys Farm, LLC and Fern Circle Stables’ Restless Rider is the 7-5 morning line choice for the Golden Rod Stakes (G2); regular rider Brian Hernandez, Jr. will be aboard the gray daughter of Distorted Humor for trainer Kenny McPeek. In the Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes (G2), Churchill Downs oddsmaker Mike Battaglia has made KRA Stud Farm’s Knicks Go, a son of Paynter, the 2-1 morning line favorite; Albin Jimenez retains the mount on the gray colt for trainer Ben Colebrook.
