Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach closes out yet another week of live Thoroughbred racing action in South Florida on Sunday, February 3 with an expansive 12-race program.

The card features a pair of eight-furlong turf stakes races for the sophomores–the $100,000 Dania Beach Stakes, and the $150,000 Sweetest Chant Stakes (G3) for three-year-old fillies.

In the Dania Beach Stakes, Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners, Robert LaPenta, and Dixiana Farms, LLC’s Current, a graded stakes winner on the grass in 2018, will make his three-year-old debut for trainer Todd Pletcher; jockey Javier Castellano will be aboard the chestnut son of Curlin.

In the Sweetest Chant Stakes (G3), Paul Pompa, Jr.’s Regal Glory, an undefeated daughter of Animal Kingdom, is the 5-2 morning line favorite in a competitive field of nine. Jockey Jose Ortiz, Jr. has the call for trainer Chad Brown.

Steam Touts Five Winners On Saturday’s Card
