A trio of entry-level allowance races anchors a solid 12-race program at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach, as the racetrack closes out yet another week of live Thoroughbred racing in South Florida.

The three-pack begins in the fifth race, which also carries a $75,000 optional claiming condition, is for three-year-old fillies sprinting six-furlongs on the main track. Klaravich Stables, Inc.’s Break Curfew, a bay daughter of Into Mischief, is the 2-1 morning line choice in the compact field of six; jockey Javier Castellano has the call for trainer Chad Brown.

The sixth race, a $51,000 “a other than” allowance affair is a one-mile turf event for fillies and mares four-years-old and upward. William M. Backer Revocable Trust’s Ferdinanda is the clear-cut 6-5 morning line choice in the field of six. Jose Ortiz, Jr. will be astride the daughter of Giant’s causeway for trainer Barclay Tagg.

Finally, the eleventh on the day, which also has a $75,000 optional claiming condition, is for three-year-olds going seven-furlongs on the dirt. Colts Neck Stables, LLC’s The Right Path has been installed as the 7-2 morning line favorite in the field of 10. Javier Castellano will ride the son of Quality Road for trainer Jorge Durate, Jr.
