“Fountain of Youth Week” steams ahead in South Florida with an 11-race program on the docket at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach on Thursday, February 28.

The featured tenth race on the program is a $62,500 optional claiming, second-tier allowance event for fillies and mares four-year-olds and upward slated for a seven-furlong trip on the main track.

Roddy J. Valente, RAP Racing, and West Point Thoroughbreds’ Coach Rocks, a Grade 2 stakes winner at Gulfstream who will make her four-year-old debut, is the 7-5 morning line favorite in a compact field of nine. Jockey Luis Saez has the call the bay daughter of Oxbow for trainer Dale Romans.
