Three Turf Races Anchor Thursday’s Program
A nine-race program is on the docket at Keeneland Race Course on Thursday, April 18, as the live Thoroughbred racing week steams ahead at the venerable Lexington, Ky. racetrack.
The third race on the card, the nominal feature, is an $83,000 “two other than” allowance affair for fillies and mares four-years-old and upward slated for a 12-furlong journey over the Haggin Turf Course.
Swift Thoroughbreds, Inc., Bradley Thoroughbred, LLC, and Madaket Stables, LLC’s Finess Bere (Fr), a two-time winner in her native France, is the 5-2 morning line favorite in a compact field of six. Jockey Tyler Gaffalione will be astride the four-year-old daughter of Pedro the Great for trainer Brendan Walsh.
