Keeneland’s 2019 Spring Meeting comes to a close on Friday, April 26 with a 10-race program on tap on the final day of the 16-day stand at the venerable Lexington, Ky. racetrack.
The featured ninth race on the card is the $150,000 Bewitch Stakes (G3T) for fillies and mares four-years-old and upward slated for a marathon 12-furlong journey over the Haggin Turf Course.
Triton Stable’s Ickymasho (GB), who is coming off a narrow loss in the Orchid Stakes (G3T) at Gulfstream Park on March 29, is the tepid 7-2 morning line choice in the field of 10 entrants. Jockey Jose Ortiz, Jr. will be aboard the seven-year-old daughter of Multiplex (GB) for trainer Roger Attfield, who will attempt to saddle his fourth winner in the 12-panel turf test.
