A customary 10-race program is on the docket on Sunday, June 23 at Churchill Downs as the Louisville, Ky. racetrack closes out the penultimate week of its 2019 Spring Meeting.

The featured tenth race on the card is an $80,000 optional claiming, third-tier allowance event for three-year-olds and upward going eight-furlongs around one-turn on the main track.

David Staudacher’s Solid Wager, an eight-year-old son of Birdonthewire who will make his first start off the claim for trainer Mike Maker, is the lukewarm 4-1 morning line favorite in a well-matched field that attracted 10 entrants.

Jockey James Graham has the call the bay gelding.

Four Winners, +34% ROI On Saturday’s Card

With four days remaining at the 2019 Spring stand in South Louisville, Steam‘s top selections are hitting at a 24 percent strike rate and have finished in the money 56 percent of the time.

Additionally, there is a $285,126 carryover in the 20-cent Single 6 Jackpot on Sunday’s program, which begins in race five with a post time of 2:45 P.M. (Eastern), and a $3,955 carryover in the $1 Super Hi-5 (10th race, 5:26 P.M. (Eastern) post).
