The live Thoroughbred racing week steams ahead at Ellis Park on Saturday, July 6 with a 10-race program on the docket.

The featured ninth race on the card is an entry-level allowance affair for fillies and mares three-years-old and upward sprinting six-furlongs on the the main track.

Tom R. Durant’s Dos Vinos–a $230,000 daughter of Twirling Candy–is the 7-5 morning line favorite in a field that attracted nine entrants.

Jockey Jack Gilligan has the call on the gray filly, who broke her maiden at Churchill Downs by open lengths, covering six-furlongs in a snappy 1:09 3/5 on June 9, for trainer Brett Calhoun.
