Cambier Parc Holds The Winning Hand In QEII

A customary 10-race Saturday program is on the docket at Keeneland Race Course in Lexington, Ky. on October 12. The card is highlighted by the $500,000 Queen Elizabeth II  Challenge Cup Stakes Presented by Lane’s End (G1T), for three-year-old fillies going nine furlongs on the Haggin Turf Course.

OXO Equine, LLC’s Cambier Parc, who is coming off a length and a quarter win in the Del Mar Oaks (G1T) on August 17, is the definitive 8-5 morning line favorite in a field that attracted nine entrants. Jockey John Velazquez will be back for a return engagement on the three-year-old bay daughter of Medaglia d’Oro, who is out of the 2007 Canadian Horse of the Year Sealy Hill, for trainer Chad Brown.

Four Winners, $2.46 ROI On Friday’s Card

Steam gave out four winners on Friday’s 10-race program at Keeneland and, as a result, had a positive 23 percent return on investment (ROI*), or a flat-bet profit of 46 cents for each two dollars wagered on its top selections on the card.

Six days into the 2019 fall meeting at Keeneland, Steam’s top picks are winning at a 29 percent clip and have finished in the money 51 percent of the time.

Post time for the first of 10 races on the Saturday, October 12 program in Lexington, Ky. is 1:05 P.M. (Eastern). Additionally, there is a $300,000 guaranteed pool in the 50-cent late Pick 4 (races 7-10, 4:24 P.M. (Eastern) post), a $9,691 carryover in the $1 Pick 6 (races 5-10, 3:18 P.M.
