Carom Looks Tough Off The Claim In Feature
A 10-race program is on the docket on Sunday, December 1 at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach, Fla.–day three of the South Florida racetrack’s 2019-2020 Championship Meeting.
The featured ninth race on the card is a $35,000 optional claiming, entry-level allowance event for three-year-olds and upward slated for a nine-furlong trip on the turf.
Paradise Farms Corp. and Mad Dog Racing’s Carom, who is coming off a third-place finish on turf at Belmont Park in October, is the 3-1 morning line choice in a field that was scratched down to six entrants. Jockey Jairo Rendon has the call on the four-year-old son of Data Link for trainer Mike Maker.
