A massive 14-race program is on the docket at Gulfstream Park on Saturday, March 28–Curlin Florida Derby Day at the historic Hallandale Beach, Fla. racetrack.

The card is not only highlighted by the $750,000 Curlin Florida Derby (G1), a nine-furlong test on the main track for three-year-olds, but also features nine supporting stakes- the $100,000 Cutler Bay Stakes, the $100,000 Hal’s Hope Stakes (G3), the $100,000 Sanibel Island Stakes Presented by US Foods, the $75,000 Sir Shackleton Stakes, the $100,000 Sand Springs Stakes, the $100,000 Orchid Stakes Presented by Rood and Riddle, the $200,000 Fasig-Tipton Gulfstream Park Oaks (G2), the $200,000 Kitten’s Joy Pan American Stakes (G2T), and the $100,000 Appleton Stakes (G3T).

Sackatoga Stable’s Tiz the Law, a dominant three-length winner of the Holy Bull Stakes (G3) at Gulfstream on February 1, is the prohibitive 6-5 morning line favorite in the Curlin Florida Derby (G1). Regular pilot Manny Franco has the call on the six-figure bay son of Constitution for veteran trainer Barclay Tagg.

Steam touted two winners on Friday’s 11-race program at Gulfstream Park and, as a result, with two days remaining at the 2019-2020 Championship Meet in South Florida, its top picks are winning at 28 percent clip and have finished in the money 60 percent of the time.

Post time for the first of 14 races at Gulfstream on Saturday, March 28 is 11:30 A.M. (Eastern). Additionally, there is a $1,664,936 carryover with a mandatory payout in the 20-cent Rainbow 6 Jackpot (races 9-14, 3:34 P.M. (Eastern) post time), a $400,000 guaranteed pool in the late Pick 5 (races 10-14, 4:17 P.M. (Eastern) post time), and a $500,000 guaranteed pool in the late Pick 4 (races 11-14, 4:49 P.M. (Eastern) post time).
