Street of Dreams returns to the races off a layoff on July 25 at Ellis Park.

Live Thoroughbred racing action continues in the Tri-State area on Saturday, July 25, as Ellis Park plays host to a customary nine-race program.

The eighth race on the card–the nominal feature–is a $38,000 allowance event for three-year-olds and upward that have never won two races slated for a nine-furlong journey on the turf.

Hit The Board Stables and Danny Ward’s Stage Ready, never worse than second on the Ellis Park weeds, is the 5-2 morning line choice in a field that attracted nine entrants. Jockey Rafael Bejarano will be astride the four-year-old son of More Than Ready for trainer Ron Moquett.

Four Winners, $3.12 ROI On Friday’s Program

Steam touted four winners on Friday’s nine-race program at Ellis Park and, as a result, had a positive 58 percent return on investment (ROI*), or a flat-bet profit of $1.16 for each two dollars wagered on its top selections on the card.

Eight days into the 2020 summer stand at the Pea Patch, Steam‘s top picks are winning at a 28 percent clip and have finished in the money 63 percent of the time.

Post time for the first of nine races on the Saturday, July 25 program in Henderson, Ky. is 12:50 P.M. (Central). Additionally, there is a $1,869 carryover in the $1 Super Hi-5 (9th race, 4:40 P.M. (Central) post time).
