Full Field Of 11 To Line Up In Friday’s Feature

A customary nine-race program is on the docket on Friday, August 7 at Ellis Park in Henderson, Ky., as the summer stand steams ahead in the Tri-State area.

The featured eighth race on the card is a $38,000 entry-level allowance affair for fillies and mares three-years-old and upward slated for aa eight and one half-furlong trip on the turf.

Mike Schemling, Heather Sparks, and Mike Bradley’s Ella Brilla, who has finished third in five of her six lifetime starts, is the 5-2 morning line choice in a well-matched field of 11. Jockey Adam Beschizza has the call on the three-year-old chestnut daughter of Kitten’s Joy for trainer Brian Lynch.
