Keeneland Race Course begins its first five-day week of racing at the 2020 fall meet with an eight-race program on the agenda at the venerable Lexington, Ky. racetrack on Wednesday, October 7.

The featured seventh race on the card is the $150,000 JPMorgan Chase Jessamine Stakes (G2T)–a “Win & You’re In” event for the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (G1T) at Keeneland on Friday, November 6–for two-year-old fillies slated for an eight and one half-furlong trip over the Haggin Turf Course.

Madaket Stables, LLC, Michael Dubb, Peter Deutsch, Micheal E. Kisber, and The Elkstone Group, LLC’s Aunt Pearl (Ire), an eye-catching five-length winner in her career debut at Churchill Downs on September 1, is the 3-1 morning line choice in a full field of 11. Jockey Florent Geroux has the call on the bay daughter of Lope de Vega (Ire) for trainer Brad Cox.

Steam gave out one winner on Sunday’s 10-race program at Keeneland and, as a result, three days into the 2020 fall stand in Lexington, Ky., its top picks are winning at a 35 percent clip and have finished in the money 61 percent of the time with a $2.14 return on investment (ROI*).

Post time for the first of eight races at Keeneland on Wednesday, October 7 is 1:05 P.M. (Eastern). Additionally, there is a $6,199 carryover in the 50-cent Super Hi-5 (2nd race, 1:39 P.M. (Eastern) post time).

Racing will be conducted at Keeneland this fall with limited spectators, in accordance with guidelines set forth by the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the federal government in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
