Two Graded Stakes On Tap On Saturday
A customary 10-race Saturday program is on the docket at Keeneland Race Course in Lexington, Ky. on October 10. The card is highlighted by a pair of graded stakes races–the $200,000 Hagyard Fayette Stakes (G2), a nine-furlong dirt test for three-year-olds and upward, and the $500,000 Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup Stakes Presented by Dixiana (G1T), for three-year-old fillies slated for a nine-furlong trip on the Haggin Turf Course.
In the Fayette Stakes (G2), Jim Bakke and Gerald Isbister’s Mr Freeze–winner of the the Gulfstream Park Mile Stakes (G2) back in February–is the 3-1 morning line choice in a well-matched field of nine entrants. Hall of Famer Javier Castellano has the call on the five-year-old chestnut son of To Honor and Serve for trainer Dale Romans.
In the QE II (G1T), Lael Stables’ Magic Attitude (GB), an impressve open-length winner of the Belmont Oaks Invitational Stakes (G1T) in her stateside debut on September 19, is the 5-2 morning line favorite in a field that attracted eight entrants. Jockey Javier Castellano will be astride the three-year-old bay daughter of Galileo (Ire) for trainer Arnaud Delacour.

Steam touted three winners on Friday’s 10-race program at Keeneland and, as a result, six days into the 2020 fall stand in Lexington, Ky., its top picks are winning at a 36 percent clip and have finished in the money 71 percent of the time with a $2.16 return on investment (ROI*).
Post time for the first of 10 races at Keeneland on Saturday, October 10 is 1:05 P.M. (Eastern). Additionally, there is a $300,000 guaranteed pool presented by Television Games Network (TVG) in the 50-cent late Pick 4 (races 7-10, 4:24 P.M.
